As summer comes to a close I find myself thinking of the songs and artists who have been, for a lack of a better term, the “soundtrack to my summer”. This summer I endured quite a few long car-rides, primarily through the East Coast, through forrests that are decievingly busy based on the mass-amount of trees that Los Angeles lacks, through towns that have more cows than they do people, through towns that seem to be in complete isolation despite the chaotic nature of the wild-life surrounding it. During these car rides that consisted of an unforunate amount of swerving mountain-roads and car-sickening turns, I had the opportunity to listen to some incredible music. My goal in this mixtape is to share with you all that I have been enjoying. I encourage everyone to further check out these well-deserving artists, buy their music or check them out on tour or even just listen to more of their music, because really their doing the same as us bloggers, trying to get their voices heard.
